Season Three: Fast Ferry

This season of Hear UR recounts the rise and fall of Rochester’s infamous boat to nowhere. Opening in 2004, the Rochester to Toronto service was supposed to offer a new, lucrative route to move people and goods across Lake Ontario. Instead, it lasted less than two hundred days before shutting down for good, leaving the city and state millions of dollars in debt. Was this a case of mismanagement and corruption?
